Our story

OneVeg started as an incubated project in the Kickstarting for Good program of Proveg. It was originally called Veg40, that aims to promote plant-based food during the Lenten Season.

As the organization was being built, people and communities got together with the common goal of making plant-based food accessible and affordable while respecting local heritage, traditions and cultures.

OneVeg now works to promote plant-based food while educating people about indigenous vegetables, natural farming, and local heritage especially during important events like the Lenten Season.

Our Vision

A world where plant-based food is abundant, fresh and cheap. A world where the cultural heritage, traditions and cultures are respected while using technology and knowledge to keep and cultivate indigenous plants and include it in plant-based food.

Our Mission

We promote plant-based food especially in important events such as the Lenten season while helping and creating communities that respect and value local heritage, traditions, and cultures that keep and cultivate edible indigenous plants.
