OneVeg started as an incubated project in the Kickstarting for Good program of Proveg. It was originally called Veg40, that aims to promote plant-based food during the Lenten Season.
As the organization was being built, people and communities got together with the common goal of making plant-based food accessible and affordable while respecting local heritage, traditions and cultures.
OneVeg now works to promote plant-based food while educating people about indigenous vegetables, natural farming, and local heritage especially during important events like the Lenten Season.
